Birthday Party/ Nickelodeon Universe

Olivia was invited to Antoinette's Princess birthday party. You were suppose to come dressed up as your favorite princess. Olivia doesn't have any princess costumes that still fit her so we used her angel costume from Halloween. We took the wings off and threw a crown on her head and called her a "Snow Princess". She was happy with that!

Well as some of you know, I took Olivia to the party a day early. We showed up at the birthday girl's doorstep. The mom answered her door in her pajamas and told us the party was Sunday, not Saturday. Talk about feeling like an idiot. The birthday girl wasn't even home. We weren't able to come to the party on Sunday because we already had plans for Nickelodeon Universe. The mom was very sweet and invited us to come back in an hour. Olivia came back to Antoinette's house and the mom did all the birthday party crafts with her. She had a blast! It turns out that the birthday girls dad is originally from England, but he is Indian. They made these beautiful masks. Olivia also got to wear authentic costume wear from India. She felt so special. Olivia also said that Antoinette can speak French. (Mom is from France.) So as you can tell Olivia is learning lots!!

On Sunday we made the trip to Mall of America. We didn't do any shopping. We just spent the day at Nickelodeon Universe. It takes little over an hour to get to the Cities.

Luke was SO EXCITED to meet SpongeBob!

After spending a long, fun day on the rides, the family ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Luke was so tired that he had a hard time keeping his eyes open.

Luke did fall asleep right before the food came.

Luke and Olivia fell asleep on the car ride home. I cannot believe Olivia fell asleep!

But without fail, Brady hardly blinked the whole way home. He did not sleep at all! This little one-year old slept only 20 minutes in the park the whole day!

Fast forward to the next day. Yup, he had an incredibly grouchy day (with a lot of sleep).

You guys make such a great family. I love the picture of Luke and Olivia crashed out on one another and then the picture of Brady wide awake. I caught myself laughing aloud.
